Dr. Ir. Mohd. Tabie Yusof was appointed as Project Director of BA Group (M) Sdn. Bhd. in November 2020. He holds a Degree in Civil Engineering from UITM Shah Alam in 1990. He went to do his postgraduate studies at the same university and obtained his Master of Science in Project Management in 2009. He continues his studies in Universiti Putra Malaysia and obtained his Doctor of Engineering in Project Management in 2016.

Over 3 decades’ extensive experience in overseeing full spectrum management of large-scale property development, construction and renewable energy projects towards driving revenue as well as profitability growth. Well versed in the areas of strategic planning, cost and budget control as well as quality assurance coupled with an unblemished record of in delivering mission-critical projects within set timeframes and budget. Recognized as a charismatic and innovative organizational leader with vast international experience including Middle East, Pakistan and East Asia Region.

Early Career History

Appointed as Senior Project Manager at KLCC Projects Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned by KLCC Group of Companies and wholly owned by Petronas Berhad. Spearheaded a cross-functional team of Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project Engineers, Project Executives and Supervisors in expediting full spectrum project management for the residential and infrastructure packages towards achieving delivery and profitability milestones. He also oversaw end to end project planning, scheduling and infrastructure coordination for an array of development projects.

• Played a key role in conducting through review of technical drawings and project execution methods to successfully reduce onsite execution time frame from 1160 days to 840 days leading to 25% increase in project margins.

• Took the challenge in renegotiating with supplier son raw material costs to improve overall projects margins by 45%.

• Instrumental in delivering savings of RM115 million through comprehensive identification, evaluation and selection of subcontractors. ​
