Bahir Abu Bakar
Group Executive Chairman
Bahir Abu Bakar is a local business accolade rising from a humble beginning. He is now the Group Executive Chairman-cum-founder of BA Group (M) Sdn. Bhd. commanding a central role in all facets of the company’s businesses and activities.
His talent and competency in business are academically fortified with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the prestigious Federation University of Australia. Before venturing into his own business in August 2009, he started off his career in the banking sector serving and holding senior positions within short stints at several reputable banks – Affin Bank Berhad and AM Bank Berhad.
Dr. Ir. Mohd Tabie Yusof
Director, Projects
Dr. Ir. Mohd. Tabie Yusof was appointed as Project Director of BA Group (M) Sdn. Bhd. in November 2020. He holds a Degree in Civil Engineering from UITM Shah Alam in 1990. He went to do his postgraduate studies at the same university and obtained his Master of Science in Project Management in 2009. He continues his studies in Universiti Putra Malaysia and obtained his Doctor of Engineering in Project Management in 2016.
Over 3 decades’ extensive experience in overseeing full spectrum management of large-scale property development, construction and renewable energy projects towards driving revenue as well as profitability growth.
Sr. Dzulkifli Jaafar
Director, Contracts
Sr. Dzulkifli Jaafar, a Director of Contract with the BA Group of companies since May 2013 is a registered professional Quantity Surveyor and has amassed 34 years of experience in managing construction contracts locally and abroad. He is also the Executive Director of Perunding DMA Sdn. Bhd., an established Consulting Quantity Surveying Firm in Malaysia.
Sr. Dzulkifli Jaafar graduated with Bachelor of Quantity Surveying with honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1983. After graduation, Sr. Dzulkifli Jaafar trained with the Quantity Surveying Branch of Public Works Department, and was in charge of numerous projects. He was also involved in “Design & Build”projects from its design stage to completion.
Ir. Dr. Wan Zahran Zakaria
Director, Projects
Ir. Dr. Wan Zahran Zakaria is a professional engineer and has twenty-five years of experience in design, monitoring and oversee engineering projects. He is the founder and CEO of WANZA Consulting Engineers Sdn. Bhd. an established engineering firm in Malaysia. He also sits as a member of Board of Director in a number of companies including Addenni Sdn. Bhd., Enrich Consultative Management Sdn. Bhd. and Luna Prestij Sdn. Bhd. He was appointed as a Project Director of BA Group (M) Sdn. Bhd. in May 2013.
